Marinating NY Strip Steak (Mongolian Style)

The Mongolian sauce can be substituted for any other sauce or marinade of your choice.


Morton sea salt
Badia Complete seasoning
McCormick's Black pepper
Kung pao stir fry sauce
P.F. Chang's Mongolian style BBQ sauce
Imperial Dragon sesame seed oil
Badia Parsley flakes
2 Trays of NY strip steak
Clear plastic wrap


Lay out a long strip of clear plastic wrap on your counter and add the complete seasoning, the black pepper, a pinch of salt, and BBQ sauce (optional) to half of the strip.
Place the steaks on the marinade seasoning plastic wrap and season each steak.

Wrap the steaks with the extra plastic wrap and roll the steaks on top of the other.
Place the steaks on a plate and store in the refrigerator over night to let the marinade seep through. You can also leave it in the refrigerator for an hour or more before cooking. 
The end result is an enriched seasoned steak saturated in minimal spices but flavorful once grilled.
